Hall of Fame
Join a distinguished group of Second Ward High School Alumni by becoming a member of our special group. As a Hall of Fame member, you will have the privilege of wearing the medallion, having your photo displayed on the wall in the House/Museum, and your name engraved on a permanent plaque in the historic Second Ward High School gymnasium. Second Ward House/Museum
The Second Ward High School National Alumni Foundation has created a special place for the community to learn about the rich history of the Second Ward neighborhood and other Charlotte neighborhoods that were home to the black community. The Second Ward House, located at 1905 Betties Ford Road in west Charlotte, is a museum that showcases memorabilia from the high school and exhibits on the area's history. We welcome everyone to come and explore this important part of Charlotte's past. All donations are tax deductible. Thank you for your support.
Special Projects
The Second Ward High School National Alumni Foundation has recently launched a Special Projects Fund to aid in the collection, preservation, and sharing of the stories of Second Ward and the African American community in the area.
